VCC at DeMille is an after-school enrichment program for students in grades 1 through 6 who want to deepen their appreciation of Vietnamese language, culture, and history. As part of DeMille’s commitment to cultural education and community involvement, the club offers hands-on experiences that bring Vietnamese traditions to life. Students participate in a wide range of activities, such as singing traditional and modern Vietnamese songs, learning and performing cultural dances, creating arts and crafts, volunteering at community events, and taking part in performances and competitions both on campus and in the broader community.

A key part of the program’s success is that it is entirely taught and led by dedicated volunteer parents, whose passion and commitment help create a meaningful and inspiring experience for every student.

The VCC logo features a wave, symbolizing both the strength and resilience of the Vietnamese community and the journey of cultural preservation across generations. Like a wave, the spirit of Vietnamese heritage continues to move forward, connecting the past with the future and carrying the stories, values, and beauty of the culture to the next generation. Through these engaging activities, students build a deeper connection to their heritage and develop a strong sense of pride in Vietnamese culture.
